13th Annual Fall Harvest Luncheon celebrate 19 years of service to the Spring Branch community
Spring Branch Community Health Center proudly announces our 13th Annual Fall Harvest Luncheon to be held at the Junior League of Houston on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
This year we are celebrating our 19th year of service to the communities in and around Houston. We will highlight the impact we’ve made over the years and honor the individuals who continue to keep our community healthy.
This year’s event will celebrate the achievements of our honoree, _____ who will receive the Louis Faillace Award for his/her/their longstanding commitment to keeping the Houston community healthy by _________. Named for SBCHC founding and current Board Member, Louis Faillace, MD, the award recognizes individuals and institutions who make a tangible, measurable impact in meeting the needs of uninsured and under-insured individuals in our communities and who demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and advocacy to improve public health, education, and human services.
In addition to the presentation of the Faillace Award, the Luncheon will also feature a keynote address by ____________. Mr./Ms. __________ served as the __________.
“_____ has given so much to Houston and the State of Texas through his/her leadership of ______,” says Marlen J. Trujillo, Ph.D., CEO of SBCHC. “____ has been a major supporter of SBCHC throughout the years, so we are especially happy to honor him/her/them with the Faillace Award at this year’s Fall Harvest Luncheon.”
Every year, SBCHC’s Fall Harvest Luncheon generates funds that are crucial to the development and support of our patient-centered community engagement, enabling services, and education and wellness programs. Programs such as outreach to the homeless population, nutrition and diabetes management support, and free cancer screenings can lead to behavioral and lifestyle changes that realize our mission “to increase the number of healthy families in our community by providing high quality, comprehensive health services.”
Spring Branch Community Health Center has been a key provider of primary health services to the Greater Houston area since we opened our doors in May 2004. As a Federally Qualified Health Center offering Pediatric Care, Adult Care, Women’s Health, Dental Care, Behavioral Health Services, and Nutrition Counselling, we are a part of the community we serve and remain committed to each patient who walks through our doors. Last year alone, we provided healthcare services to over 25,436 individual patients across 84,578 visits and referred many more individuals to vital social services, including 490 families who found secure homes through our housing assistance programs.
