June Is Men’s Health Awareness Month
Men’s Health Awareness month is a national observance used to raise awareness about the health and well being of men and boys. During this month of awareness, we encourage men to take control of their health and for families to teach healthy habits throughout childhood to their young boys.

Men are at higher risk for many serious diseases, including heart disease, colon, lung and prostate cancer, diabetes, and HIV.

Men do not see doctors for a physical exam nearly as often as women and men are more likely to be uninsured.
